As Vessel Administrator, you are part of the finance team that consists of 10 FTE. The finance team is a service-oriented department with the ambition to always further improve systems, processes and reporting. The finance department works with MS D365 F&O and Tagetik. You will be working closely together with the other vessel administrators, accounts payable employees and finance manager. Report to the Finance Manager.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of relevant work experience, has a proactive attitude and knows how to motivate people to actively participate in the projects and can keep control of processes.
Tasks and responsibilities
- You are responsible to keep the accounting records for your (vessel) companies up to date
- You control your suspense accounts and perform monthly closings within set deadlines
- You review the performance of your vessels compared to budget and discuss outliers with the budget owner
- You are involved in one or more specific topics such as:
- Insurances and damages
- Tangible fixed assets
- Bank and treasury
- Work expenses scheme
- You participate in facilitating the external audit
- You participate in optimizations of systems, processes and reporting
Required skilles and experience
- You have at least HBO level, for example Economics, Accountancy and/ or Controlling;
- You have at least 1 year of relevant work experience;
- You have good knowledge of Excel and are used to work with an ERP system;
- Knowledge of Dutch GAAP.

- You have excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
